No. Evolve is not a poison and does not kill rodents. It's a fertility-control soft bait that reduces reproductive capacity in both male and female rodents, causing populations to decline naturally over time.
What's in Evolve?
The active ingredient is cottonseed oil (0.1%). Other ingredients (99.9%): oat flour, palm oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, cottonseed meal, sucrose, citric acid. All food-grade. Evolve is classified as a FIFRA Section 25(b) exempt minimum-risk pesticide by the EPA.
Is Evolve safe for my pets?
Yes. Evolve is made from food-grade, non-toxic ingredients. If a dog or cat were to consume Evolve bait, it would not harm them. That said, we always recommend using tamper-resistant bait stations as a best practice.
Is Evolve safe around children?
Yes. The EPA-designated minimum-risk classification means Evolve poses little to no risk to human health. As with any pest control product, keep out of reach of children and always follow label directions.
Will Evolve harm hawks, owls, or other wildlife?
